Summer  Day  Camp Riding Program for Children Ages 7 -16.

Paris Farms is a premier equine facility offering a unique program for children interested in learning all aspects of horseback riding.  The camp will allow participants to learn how to safely ride.

Whether you would like to ride english or western it is very important to get started with the basics of good equitation as well as learning all of the responsibilities involved in caring for a horse.  Riders will be riding everyday rain or shine in our fantastic indoor and outdoor arenas.

 

Learn Hands on Techniques for Proper Horse Care

•  Daily horse care and horseback riding.

•  Grooming horses and using the proper tools.

•  Properly saddling and bridling a horse.

•  Learning how to safely wrap and protect a horse’s legs.

•  Learn how to properly halter, lead and lunge a horse.

•  Cleaning horse tack, taking apart bridles and putting them back together.

•  Trotting polls, some jumping and patterns. (Based on riders skill level.)

•  Horse games, crafts and projects.

•  Snacks and Drinks provided.

•  Most of all learn to ride while having fun.
